Training

You are your child's expert, lets empower that.

Upcoming cohorts:

September: 15th, 17th, 22nd, and 24th.

October: 20th, 22nd, 27th and 29th.

Every parent deserves to experience joy in their child, but our desire to correct their behavior often leads to power struggles and cycles of disconnection.

Disciplining our children can have a significant impact on our relationship with them.

Strain in our relationships can hinder our ability to help them develop the skills we want them to gain.

❋ Why is this different from a parenting class?

This training engages participants in full discussions about behavior and the application of interventions. It promotes learning beyond just the psychoeducation of the reasons behind behavior and empowers caregivers with the tools to navigate those behaviors. Additionally, it offers interventions that meet the needs of both the family and the child. Each day we will have the opportunity to staff and apply the new knowledge.

❋ My child has a neurodivergence diagnosis, does this training meet the needs of those challenges?

Yes.

When experiencing the daily struggles of managing the challenges faced due to autism, ADHD, OCD, or any disorder, we can often feel paralyzed by the demands they place on us as caregivers. This can lead to the overwhelming dilemma of not knowing where to start, how long to intervene, or when to pivot. This training equips you to be your child's best advocate.

Your participation can be a valuable complement to a child’s treatment.

However is not required for the child or family to be in therapy.

❋ What does my ticket cover?

Your ticket allows for the participation of an individual or two adults. This can include any two adults who are part of your child's life. Examples include a mom and dad, a dad and grandma, a parent and a nanny, or even a parent and a service provider such as a respite aide.

Child care fees are not included in the ticket price, due to services being provided by the learning center staff.
